Shoe Width: Felt true to width
Shoe Arch: No arch support
I wear an 8 1/2 wide shoe, so I ordered size Large which is supposed to fit up to size 9. My toe goes almost to the tip. If I loosen the strap, the heel slips off... so beware on the sizing. The offgasing took about 3 days to diminish. The Acorn logo is embroidered on the inside in the middle of the heel. When I walk I can feel it. I think it would be better to put the logo on the outside where it can't be felt. Not so good to put something you can feel in an area where there's going to be a lot of pressure while walking. I don't have arthritis in my feet or diabetes, so maybe it would be worse for someone who does, I don't know. These slippers seem to run warm for 70 degree indoors. Perhaps better suited for colder winter months. They are very soft to the touch and the sole is quite mushy. There's not much arch support at all. I've only worn them a few times, so not sure how they will hold up over the long haul. If the longer term results are not so good, I will post another review. I bought these because I wanted something that was washable and something where the sole wouldn't mash down within a few months like the cheap ones you can buy in the bins at the local discount store. I had been walking around the house in socks and my old feet were starting to hurt. Doc says my arches are falling and I shouldn't walk around barefoot as it tends to stretch the planar tendon causing heel pain. That's my review so far... Hope it helps!!!
