The Aravon Katy Slingback Sandal has the health benefits to improve foot functionality and all-day comfort. Hook and loop straps at the heel, instep and forefoot can be adjusted for an optimal, secure fit. A stability cradle incorporated in the Velocor™ Footbed provides heel stabilization, outstanding arch support and motion control; plus, the 10mm full-length removable Velocor™ Footbed not only incorporates a metatarsal bump for support, but also accommodates custom orthotics or arch support inserts. Women will also gain extra comfort because the Katy comes with ABZORB® cushioning and Primalux™ Comfort Cushion technology, which is an open-cell foam that will conform to each individual foot and help disperse pressure. I got these last summer (6 months ago) and have loved them from day one. If you need arch support like I do, or just want a comfortable sandal with a cushiony insole, this is it. I didn't need to add any other orthotics to these sandals. They feel better on my feet than my other New Balance shoes for which I paid a lot more. I only wish I could wear them outdoors in the winter.
