Brooks GTS 12 Men's Running and Walking Shoes have the same fit as the GTS 11, but with several added features to enhance performance and comfort. The upper has a profile sockliner, adjustable saddle construction, and Element mesh - all of which provide a snug fit and breathability to keep feet moisture free. This men's athletic shoe is also friendly to the environment because it has a BioMogo midsole that's designed to decompose at a faster rate in landfills than other shoes. Exceptional cushioning is provided by the midsole: full length DNA technology provides adaptive cushioning - the more force and weight that's applied the more cushion wearers will experience. A Caterpillar Crash pad offers a smooth, cushioned and stable heel to toe transition during each step, while a DRB ACCEL thermoplastic shank-like piece provides torsional rigidity in the midfoot. The outsole is constructed with various features to not only help prolong the life of the shoe, but functionality as well. HPR Plus (a long-lasting abrasion resistant rubber compound) is used in the outsole design, Flextra (a rubber piece in the forefoot) provides tuned flexibility, and Stable Pod Configuration will set the foot in a balanced position to help achieve optimal stability from heel-strike to toe-off.
