Drew Lightning II V Athletic Walking Shoes for Men: Lightning does strike twice
The Drew Lightning II V Mens Athletic Walking Shoe combines therapeutic benefits with athletic comfort and style. Part of The Drew Athletic Collection, the Lightning II V offers double depth Plus Fitting System with two removable insoles and two adjustable Velcro straps. This shoe is HCPCS coded A5500 for a diabetic shoe. The leather/mesh upper is breathable and lined with soft fabric. The tongue and collar are both padded with foam for soft comfort. While you move, your active feet will stay cool and dry with Drilex insoles, which wick away moisture. Wide, synthetic fiber shank and firm heel counter increase balance and stability. The Lightning II V features an EVA midsole and durable rubber outsole with rocker bottom to propel you forward as you walk. This Drew shoe is also recommended for treating foot conditions such as a high arch, flat feet, Metatarsalgia (ball-of-foot paint), plantar fasciitis (heel pain), bunions, hammertoes, and arthritis. Product Reviews
G GREG Location: THREE RIVERS MI Would you recommend this item to a friend?: Yes Great shoe! My wife couldn't believe how fast I can walk with these. I have neuropathy in my feet and I can't walk very fast
T TGB Location: Oakland, CA Would you recommend this item to a friend?: Yes Most comfortable shoe I have purchased in a long time These shoes are the most comfortable shoe I have purchased in a long time. I love the arch support and the double insole. I leave both in but if you needed more box room you could remove one of them. Mine did come with a mark on the fabric and marks on the inner sole.
M Marlyn Location: Gettysburg, Pa Would you recommend this item to a friend?: Yes Drew Lightning II V - Men's Athletic Walking Shoe Absolutely the nicest sneaker type shoe we have ever purchased. Perfect fit. So comfortable.
S Stephanie D. Location: VA Would you recommend this item to a friend?: Yes Perfect for His Needs My husband wears an AFO--Ankle/Foot Orthotic--and finds it difficult to find shoes deep and wide enough to include this. When New Balance apparently discontinued the one he was wearing, we had to search for another one. After 2 tries with another reputable online shoe store, I was able to find this one. They fit perfectly. He mentioned the other day how much better he is walking with these new shoes, and the knee pain he thought was unrelated, has disappeared. (I was right! lol) Shipping was also prompt, which was much appreciated.
V Vince B. Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida Would you recommend this item to a friend?: Yes shoes fit my husband more like a 9 instead of the 9.5 ... the X wide (4E) not wide enough The shoes looked great ... husband tried on and compared to the Propet Connelly Strap they are narrow and short ... I ordered the Drew and the Propet both size 9.5.... for those looking for what we needed ......the Drew X wide is (4E) and the Connelly X wide (3E) will not be the same ... the Connelly is wider , longer and the depth is greater in the ConnelleyMy husband said they felt comfortable on but again he need the extra wiggle room in his shoes nowhe is diabetic and has flat feet... he is also can be on his feet 12 to 15 hours a day.....will still recommend this shoe but if you need the xtra room get 1/2 larger and wider than you think you will need....note : trying to find the perfect shoe for Hubby... have tried 3 different brands so far.
