Its unique throat to toe opening panel allows the wearer to step-in to the shoe and then close the flap around the foot. For hypersensitive feet this is a vast improvement from a slip-on design that constricts at the throat causing pain and pressure, and potential re-injury during the on/off process. The firm non-scuff rubber outsole improves mobility and provides minimal protection from external impact without leaving marks on linoleum floors. Feel free to enhance the Comfortrite Innovator's existing shock absorption and support by replacing one or both of the slippers' two removable insoles with a custom orthotic.

I cut shoes to accommodate the swelling in my feet for more than a year before my son found me this footwear made for my edema. I am so glad to have found Healthy Feet and so sorry I waited to try these types of footwear. Since this slipper has no support I have added an insole and will be trying one of the walking shoes next! I am amazed by difference this shoe has made in my foot comfort. stability and confidence in walking. Thank you!

The diabetic slipper (the Innovator) was better than we expected because it opens almost to the end of the toe on both sides. It is easy to put on swollen feet.
