Nice, April 2, 2010 Posted By: The Fat One Overall: Comfort: Look: Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Pretty good. Comfortable. Sole not too good. Fabric attracts dust and lint. Was this rating helpful to you? These slippers, I believe would have met his needs very well were it not for their very strong chemical smell. (They were made in China). I tried to air them out for several days, but still the odor was strong. I felt that could not be good for someone with heart problems and breathing difficulties. I returned them and requested an echange for a completely different brand. I have not received the exchange yet, but they are on the way and healthy feet have been helpful in accomodating this exchange. Was this rating helpful to you? They are easy to put on him and comfortable enough for him to wear all day. I agree that the fabric does attract lint and hair, but that is my only complaint. Was this rating helpful to you? He loves them. They keep his feet warm and are adjustable and put no pressure on his feet which would cause sores. He is an insulin dependent diabetic. We took a copy of the web site to his foot doctor. Was this rating helpful to you? The slippers provided plenty of room to add an orthotic insert and a cushioning insole. They do not irritate the bunion. They seem to breath fairly well, so that my feet do not sweat. They are good for walking outside to get the newspaper or mail. Overall I am pleased. They did smell a bit upon arrival, but the smell disipated in less than a week. Was this rating helpful to you? These were a God send for the hospital, since they could not fit him in the non-slip socks and he fell. The only issue was that they did not offer any ankle support at all. They were easy for him to get them on and off, and very comfortable for him. Thank you for all you do for diabetics, especially the larger sizes. Was this rating helpful to you? They're lightweight, soft, flexible, cover the entire foot, have a semi-rigid sole for stability, and a velcro flap for simplicity. My only complaint is that the velcro closure is unduly weak and has always come loose at the slightest touch, meaning the shoe comes off when I have to physically move this person. I know sturdier hook and loop material exists, and I would encourage ComfortRite to upgrade to a "grippier" closure. Was this rating helpful to you?
