Both my son and I have the Comfortrite shoes. We do not have diabetes or other feet problems other than our feet were always hurting and no other shoe was comfortable. I believe the stretchable lycra plays a huge part in the comfort of this shoe. My son and I both noticed immediate comfort and way less problems with our feet hurting. The lycra allows the shoe to stretch when your foot is swollen. The shoe is very lightweight and seems like you don't even have shoes on, in fact we quite often wear them as slippers. At the end of a long day you don't even feel like taking them off.
