My aunt has cerebral palsy and wears slippers all the time. She is able to get these on herself, and they stay on her feet very snug (she drags one foot, impossible to find slippers that stay on) Cannot accurately answer the rest of these questions since I can't compare these to orthodontic shoes...

Great Winter Slippers, May 19, 2011

My wife is a diabetic and has cold feet so the slippers were no only confitable but kept her feet nice and warm. The slippers were easy to slip on and fit great.

I just got these. I was a bit worried they were too wide for my foot. But the velcro tab-- you just snug it across the top of your foot and it fits GREAT,

The arch support isn't that great for someone with HIGH arches but I should be getting custom orthotics ones in just a couple of weeks. I highly recommend taking care of your feet. Spend the money now you won't regret it.

Happily I think I can even wear these long distant driving--that really upset me thinking driving barefoot were days gone.

A problem with design, December 18, 2012

This slipper was almost the perfect answer for the wide and sensitive feet of my 92-year old mother in law, but, after only 2 days, the bottom sides of her feet became sore from the hard edge of the insert and the space created by the flexibility of the slipper. She won't wear them now. I am going to try to fix the problem by modifying the insert with fleece, but I'm disappointed that it wasn't softer and tighter fitting to begin with. Sensitive feet are sensitive everywhere, not just the tops and sides!
