Darco Square Toe Medical Surgical Shoe for Men and Women: Focused on the Foot and Ankle

This post-operative shoe for men and women has adjustable straps to fit as snug or wide as needed over bulky dressings and bandages. Semi-rigid sole provides needed support and has a non-skid surface to absorb shock during walking. Cool and comfortable to wear. Ideal for diabetics and those with circulatory problems or insensitive feet.

Used a walking boot stabelize foot after bunion surgery. Bought this shoe to allow mobility when dr allowed. Foot too swollen to fit in regular shoes. Worked great at an extremely affordable price. Added additional arch support inserts to keep foot in desired position until able to wear regular shoes. Will visit site for the other foot surgery scheduled next spring.

I have bunion flare ups that swell my foot and cause a good deal of pain. I can't even put on a normal shoe. This medical shoe fits very well and helps immobilize the foot to relieve pain. Velcro straps allow adjustment for many foot sizes.

This has been a helpful transition shoe after triple arthrodesis and bunion surgery. Its cool and not too obtrusive. I am thankful that the price is so reasonable.

OUR ORTHOPEDIC OFFICE HAS BEEN USING A DIFFERENT BRAND AND STYLE OF MEDICAL SURGICAL SHOE. THEY ARE AWKWARD AND CLUMSY TO WEAR AND THEY ARE NEVER A SNUG FIT. A PATIENT CAME IN WEARING THE DARCO SQUARE TOE MEDICAL-SURGICAL SHOE AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE FIT. Got this shoe to wear as an alternative to a walking cast (which was causing hip and lower back pain) while rehabbing two metatarsal stress fractures. Worked really well for me. My only issue was that I had trouble getting the ankle strap tight enough to keep the shoe from slipping off my foot. But a thick "slipper sock" fixed that just fine! Would buy again.

Got this shoe after I had tailor's bunion surgery/ toe de-rotation. The surgical shoe the hospital gave me had a plastic closing that dug into that part of my foot. Got this in the mail today, and I could walk 110X better from the min. I put it on. Just a word of warning though, I am a woman's 9.5. I ordered a size large which says it will fit up to a 10. I get a perfect fit as I'm out of my ace bandage now, however if I were a 10 this would be too small. I'd rec. buying hte men's size if you are 1. Above a 9.5 or 2. have a large dressing. Other than that if you had surgery this is a PERFECT upgrade on the hospital shoe at a great price. Also shipping was QUICK. This made it West to East coast in 2 days.
