Darco Women's Diabetic Shoe, Gentle Step is a diabetic shoe for women with extra-depth and removable insoles. Doctor recommended, this extra-depth diabetic shoe is light weight, machine washable and vented for breathability. For maximum comfort and function, this diabetic shoe is fitted with a pair of removable, multi-density insoles. Recommended for (but not limited to) Heel Pain, Edema or Swollen Feet, Bunions, Flat Feet, Ankle Pain, Arch Pain, Back Pain and Pronation.

Great little shoe. Not diabetic, but Arthritis has taken it tole on my feet. I would not hesitate to recommend, or purchase another pair, but would love some colors!

I purchased this shoe 2 years ago now, and have come to the conclusion this is the most comfortable shoe in the world. I will never find another shoe to surpass it in comfort. I have swelling feet which have been very wide, big, and deep since childhood, and lately I have endured painfull bottoms and irritated heals. This product does the trick for all my problems and also helps with my painful backaches and knee pain. I love that it comes in a 13.5 because I am between a 13 and 14. They have lasted for the 2 years now with heavy use, a great value, and I plan to buy them again.

Purchased for 96-year-old aunt with mangled, rigid toes from ill-fitting shoes following hammer-toe surgery. Amputation of one toe on each foot was required. Able to wear shoes one week following surgeries with no pain. They give her great support and are easy to put on and remove. Podiatrist recommended a shoe of this type, although she's not diabetic.
