Dr.'s Remedy Enriched, Antifungal, Non-Toxic Nail Polish

 When Podiatrist Adam Cirlincione went with his pregnant wife to her first pre-natal appointment all of the doctor's recommendations made sense except one, no more nail polish until the baby was born. On my finger nails polish never lasts more than a few days and this lasted a full week with out chipping. I noticed if you don't get the base coat it peels but you can go without the top coat although it does stay on longer with both base & top coat. The podiatrst removed the toenail and prescribed ointment to put on the nailbed, which I used faithfully and followed her instructions exactly. After nine months, my toenail had just grown in and was looking excellent. My doctor said there was no sign of fungus, so I decided to use this Dr.'s Remedy Polish because I thought that it would be safer than regular polish and would help in preventing fungus in the future. Boy, was that a terrible mistake! My toenail is now worse than it was before and I had to have it removed again. This polish did nothing to prevent fungus from coming back on my toenail and, in fact, the fungus was worse the second time after using this polish. I wouldn't recommend this polish to anyone! I was excited that this nail polish is free from harmful toxic ingredients and is a healthier alternative for my nails. It also includes tea tree oil and garlic bulb extract to prevent nail fungus which is always a plus in my book. The square bottles are easy to hold and use for self-application. The Defense Deep Red and Relaxing Rose colors were both beautiful and vibrant. I applied a clear Basic Base coat before and after the color and was amazed that after 3 weeks there was no chipping! I was very disappointed. It does not look at all like the picture! Instead of a rose, it is a bright coral more like the picture of the peaceful pink coral color. Perhaps pictures of the polish on a model's nails would show a truer picture of the actual color. It doesn't stay on long. Chips the next day. I contacted the company who said they would "work with me" and they never replied. Everyone is different, but for me, this was not worth the price. I researched further and found many such as this on the market and work much better. I purchased from Healthy Feet , 2 polishes, treatment and remover. Remover not bad but I found one that doesn't smell like a remover and works better. Neither company was of help so I am stuck with this product but found something much better and smells better too!
