The Drew Men's Athletic Shoe Atlas looks like an ordinary athletic shoe but feels like an orthopedic shoe. This athletic shoe style gives you the choice between leather or mesh uppers- both are lightweight and let the foot breathe. Laces secure the foot in place, while the soft, foam-padded collar and tongue comfort the foot as you move. The tempered steel shank, firm heel counter and EVA wedge midsole in this Drew shoe provide additional stability for the foot, and the outsole gives you traction during your work out. This shoe alleviates metatarsalgia (ball of foot pain) and is good for those with plantar fasciitis and diabetes. Control your feet's perspiration with the Drilex® lining inside this shoe that reduces moisture, stains and odor. The two removable insoles permit you to use your custom orthotics, give your feet extra depth or more room in the toe box. This men's orthopedic shoe is also Medicare coded A5500 as a diabetic shoe.
