I have been and still am a diabetic for 50 years . I have a serious edema problem with my right leg and have problems with acquiring a pair of comfortable , good loooking pair of casual as well as dressy black shoes with velcro straps . Since the velcrow straps are too short to fit around my ankle , I had the shoe maker lenthen them . They are the most comfortable shoe I have . I wish I could find one in brown!!
