Decent shoe for diabetic individuals

This ankle height boot provides protection and support. There is enough volume to hold my orthotics without negatively impacting its fit inside. I did not need a significant break-in period. It is attractive for a utility shoe, with pebble grain leather uppers. The soles are slip resistant which helps, since I have arthritis in my knees and hips, thus making me prone to falls. As such, it is a very decent walking shoe, to the extent that I am able to go on walks. My only criticism would be there ought to be greater padding on the inside, although otherwise there are no noticeable seams to cause blistering.

Excellent Shoe

I received these shoes from the Healthy Feet Store quickly and they were well packed in a box over the regular shoe box.I like these shoes a great deal. I suffer from Pantars Faciitis and heel spurs and am also a big guy weighing in at 280 lbs. Dunham is New Balances Boot and Shoe brand so they share technology and these contain similar tech to my favorite walking/athletic shoes. I use these with the NB-IPR3030W insoles also available from healthy Feet Store because I have a very high arch. Someone with a normal arch would be happy with the standard insole. These have a nice tumbled leather finish and look good and I can wear them in my business casual environment at work.I found them a bit stiff for the first two days but then they were very, very comfortable. I have not found that to be the case with any of my NB shoes. These provide the support I need, are comfortable and alleviate the pain I have with lower quality shoes. They should accomodate an orthotic, if you use one ok because the toe box is deeper but there is not a tremendoes amount of extra room. The NB-IPR3030W is very close in size and thickness to most orthotics.

Sturdy Shoe

The shoes is comfortable and safe. The shoes provides grip so you are not worried about slipping on hardword or slippery spots when walking. The width and shoe size were correct and advertised and they stay clean. The cushion provides good arch support.
