This shoe accomodates orthotics without being an extra-depth Frankenshoe. It would probably fit wider feet better than narrow feet - my feet are narrow (but I need a wide toe box) and the shoe is great for the toes but kinda loose in the midfoot area. Still, it's pretty comfortable - the leather is pretty soft, too. The laces it comes with are awful - they knot very easily - suggest getting new laces after purchase.

Not my favorite walking shoe, March 23, 2011

I have 3 different styles of Mary Janes from Kumfs and they are high on my list of favorites. Being these are so outstanding, I expected more from this shoe. The main complaint is that they were too hard feeling. I guess it is the sole that was the problem, as far as I could tell. The fit was OK and all the kumfs work well with orthotics. I did return these. I feel most shoe companies don't do well in all styles and this is one of them as far I am concerned.
