i bought this pair to replace an identical pair in identical size, but this one had a defect affecting my left little toe so profoundly that i ended up missing work and needing surgery. i'm not a litigious guy, but be careful for lemons. plus, instead of the mesh-type top, these came with a solid top...not sure if this is relevant, but anything that irritates a toe and causes pain is unacceptable. this pair was part of a $500 purchase (3 pairs), and it will be my last. i hope this review saves someone a lot of grief.
