My son has fine motor skill delays and cannot tie shoes. He does not want to wear velcro shoes that look like "baby shoes" and these laces are the perfect solution. He can wear the latest style sneakers and "tie" them himself.

I was hoping to use these for my daughter who has cerebral palsy and cannot tie her shoe. However, the spring on the squeeze mechanism is way too hard to squeeze for her to operate it.
