Spira Classic Leather Women's Walking Shoes (White): New Cushioning Technology with Exceptional Energy Return

The Spira Classic Leather Women's Walking Shoe provides a level of cushioning that is second to none. This women's walking shoe incorporates WaveSpring® technology at the forefoot and heel to minimize shock absorption and gain energy return during the gait cycle. WaveSpring® technology consists of a metal alloy WaveSpring® that is durable, stable and active. The WaveSpring® is designed to not bottom out or breakdown overtime, something that typically happens with other shoes that just have EVA or foam material under the foot - wearers will feel the same cushioning when they reach the 500-mile mark as they did on their first mile wearing the Spira Classic Leather shoe. Wearers will also feel less stress on joints, ligaments and tendons because the WaveSpring® design reduces peak impact forces by up to 20%. Besides its WaveSpring® technology, the Classic Leather comes with a full grain leather upper, a high grade EVA midsole and a durable rubber outsole for extra cushioning and flexibility. The high grade EVA midsole and durable rubber outsole offer extra cushioning and flexibility. The EVA footbed is removable to accommodate custom orthotics or arch supports. The Spira Classic Leather Women's Walking Shoe will provide the necessary protection against impact shock and the exceptional cushioning needed for smooth comfortable steps.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked
Shoe Width: Felt true to width
Shoe Arch: No arch support

These shoes seem to be well made. They took awhile to "break in" but now they are comfortable. I find that the arch support is greatly lacking and that is a dissappointment. I don't find them much more comfortable than my department store shoes of this type. But, not a bad shoe.
