The Spira Genesis X Men's Running Shoe features WaveSpring® technology: an exceptional type of cushioning that consists of a WaveSpring® made out of metal alloy that's long-lasting, active and stable. The Genesis X incorporates this design in the forefoot and heel to reduce shock absorption all while gaining energy return to improve comfort and performance. WaveSpring® technology is so durable that it will not break down over time; in fact, the same cushioning that was felt during the first mile will be felt after 500 miles - something you won't get with other men's athletic shoes that are made with just EVA material. This men's shoe is also sporty looking and comes with a breathable mesh and synthetic leather upper to reduce moisture build up. A removable insole makes this shoe orthotic friendly - you can replace it with arch supports or custom orthotics. Not only does the midsole feature WaveSpring® technology, but also a high density medial post for extra stability. The outsole is durable and made with a high abrasion rubber strike pad and 4 rubber pods for flexibility. The Spira Genesis X Men's Running Shoe will minimize peak impact forces by up to 20%, which means tendons, ligaments and joints will experience less stress and pressure.
