Really cute but just didn't work for me and foot slipped

I tried and used my orthotics in them that have more arch support, but immediately my feet slipped forward. The toe box is wide, which is great but the heel area is also wide so if you have heel slippage or skinny ankles, sometimes even inserts don't help. These felt like the arch support was supposed to hold my foot into the heel area but even with the same socks I use to hike, the size 6 did not work. I could have tried a 1/2 size smaller but they don't make them in a 5 1/2.
