Product Description

Drew Andes - Women's Casual Shoe

Footwear that can not only feel good but also look good can be difficult to come by in women’s footwear collection, but not with Drew. The Drew Andes footwear is designed for women on the go. With its sleek design and comfortable fit, these shoes are not only made for walking – they are made to improve performance whether you work out or when you run errands. The additional depth that the shoes offer provide additional comfort and a secure fit that is gentle on the feet as is the soft fabric lining. Both work to prevent chafing and blisters that can otherwise make for an uncomfortable fit. The tempered steel shank in each shoe protects the shoe from getting punctured by sharp objects and provides stability at the same time. The Andes also features EVA wedge midsoles, which are thin at the front and tall at the heel. The foam is perfect for midsoles since it controls the maximum angle of over-pronation. It guides the feet into a more stable and neutral position for a balanced walk. So whether you want to spend time running errands, catching up with friends, running, biking or any other strenuous activity, you will remain comfortable and fresh if you have these on. The Andes are especially beneficial for people who have trouble finding shoes that can not only fit comfortably but which wont get damaged easily.

FAQs

Is the Drew Andes good for plantar fasciitis?
Yes — the Drew Andes is an excellent choice for plantar fasciitis. Its arch support, cushioned insole, and shock absorbing help reduce strain on the plantar fascia — the band of tissue along the bottom of your foot that causes heel and arch pain.
What widths does the Drew Andes come in?
The Drew Andes is available in Narrow (2A/B), Medium (B/D), Wide (D/E), Extra Wide (2E/3E). It also has a removable footbed, so you can swap in custom orthotics for a personalized fit. This shoe is A5500 coded and may qualify for Medicare therapeutic shoe coverage.
What are the key comfort features of the Drew Andes?
The Drew Andes has a firm heel counter that stabilizes the rearfoot and controls excess motion, and uses breathable materials to keep feet cool, dry, and less prone to irritation. Drew shoes are handcrafted with a Tempered Steel Shank for stability and a double-depth design. They are a top choice among podiatrists for therapeutic footwear.
