Seem well made but no arch support

I have very high arches and was specifically looking for river shoes that I can wear without my orthotics. These seem really well made and comfortable, but have practically no arch support at all. You can remove three layers of insoles to add your own orthotics if desired, which is nice, but not what I was hoping for. Sent them back and was pleased with how easy the return process was.

great customer service

Unfortunately, this shoe was not wide enough for my feet - I called customer service and they were extremely cooperative and tried to help me find another shoe that would fit my need. I returned the shoe and immediately got a refund back onto my visa - customer service with this company is superb and I will continue to buy my shoes from them for that reason. I highly recommend this company!!

I Would Get a Half Size Larger Than You Think

I bought these for my 17 year old daughter, who has a diagnosis of Angelman Syndrome and a number of different foot and leg conditions that sometimes make walking painful - and wide little feet. She is functionally nonverbal, so it is sometimes a challenge to know exactly where she is hurting. These sandals seem to be so comfortable that she often leaves them on, even after we have come in the house (she usually kicks her shoes right off). The sandals are cute and can be worn with nicer clothing, as well as with casual outfits. The construction is good; they seem like they will wear well for a long time.They are a little short, and have started making her big toes red, now that the weather is warmer, and her feet are possible swelling a little. I would buy a half size larger next time.Overall, we couldn't be happier with these shoes.

I recommend half a number more and extra width, if you have a high arch and high instep. Excellent for my high arch.

I bought a pair of Drew Element sandals. Very seldom do I buy a pair of shoes that are comfortable from the get go. These were so comfortable, that after two days, I ordered a second pair. NEED I SAY MORE? OK, I love them!
