Turf Toe - Full Steel Insole

My right big toe joint was a constant problem for probably 3 months straight.
That was after off and off and on it being a problem for maybe 4 years.
I have had these in my shoes for 2 weeks and I have already forgotten, zero pain and zero disruption from my activities.
I just wish I thought of this much sooner..

Have been wearing these with a one year old pair of Brooks Addiction Walking Shoes. Morning pain in both feet: GONE! Lower back pain, GONE!
Pain in left knee from meniscus surgery a year ago, GONE!

Works great for those that walk on uneven surfaces with rocks. The steel construction helps prevent most aggressive penetration of rocks into the soles of the feet.

Great for arthritic toe ~ wish they were less expensive so I could buy more for other shoes

These work well to give me the needed spring when walking. Due to injury missing 3 toes I was not completing full range of movement when walking. This caused issues with hip and other leg to point of horrible pain. These inserts have worked really well getting me back to walking right

Gives my son relief during football games! This is his 2nd year using these steel insoles. He fractured a metatarso bone and was recommended by an orthopedic to use these during games. It’s been a lifesaver!

Purchase as per podiatrist. Keeps toe from bending when doubled so it's doing it's job. Ran a bit long and narrow but fleece covering seems good.

They slipped right into my shoe they don’t hurt my feet they feel better very good product

My son has Hallux Rigidus and when using the full steel insole he has no pain. They work as described. However, in 1 to 2 weeks he breaks them. He has also tried other insoles with carbon fiber which break in the same time frame. His activity level is very high as he plays soccer at a highly competitive level, spending hours every day wearing these insoles.

I need to refrain from flexing my right foot too much during workouts while dealing with a nerve injury. I slip this in under my training shoe's insole and it does exactly what I need it to do. I can still move my foot but the insole protects it during lunges, etc. It improves my workouts, doesn't hinder them. It's a quality steel plate attached to a thick felt panel. The shape & length (sz 10) are perfect. I use the turf toe half insole for my regular shoes and this full-length version for my workouts. Seems like a lot of money but the protection and relief these insoles bring are worth it.

I purchased an almost identical product from my foot Dr. And it was $150. Essentially these inserts prevent some movement at the big toe joint. Sounds simple but the end result is massive pain reduction. I would say at the end of each day my pain level was a 7 or 8 out of ten, with these inserts it's a two or three. I'm not ready for surgery and I don't want to cut activities out of my life. These inserts are a great solution.

Helps to have some padding between this insole and your foot, but the support is great.

These are helping my feet. I have fibromyalgia and continuous tendonitis in the top of my feet. The steel insoles keep my feet more stable.

These were really disappointing. They are so narrow there is a 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap at the top of my insoles. My foot slips into this hole by my big toe and upper foot. This makes my bad feet worse!

My problem is different than many others on this site. I have arthritis in my ankles and bone spurs on the top of my feet. So I thought of ordering carbon insoles but since they are so expensive and I wasn’t sure if they’d work I ordered this product. Well, so far so good. They limit the motion in my feet so I dont feel as much pain. I actually took out the insoles and wear these only in my shoe since they have a felt covering. Unfortunately a lot of cushioning or arch support from insoles aggravates my condition. With this product I find that I’m n a lot less pain and to this day about a week later I also have been taking less Advil. Oh and I saved well over a hundred dollars.😉

Was having problems with Turf Toe in my left foot. Had trouble running, and or walking. The steel toe insert was amazing in helping me get back to running, walking, yoga, etc. I will continue to use this product in the future. For my foot, I recommend buying 1 size smaller than the shoe you're going to use it in. I wear a men's 15 Asics Running shoe so I am using a size 14 running shoe. This allows me to put a "neutral" smaller insert over the prosthetic add to the comfort of the fit. Would recommend this for any activity. The Price was good and it is easy to transfer between shoes. 5 Star

I was hesitant to spend money but decided to pull the trigger on this purchase, hoping it would provide some relief for a tendon strain in my right foot. I have found the insoles to be incredible so far! They really stabilize my feet and are comfortable to wear all day. My foot feels like it's finally starting to heal so I'm really grateful I found this product and decided to try it out.

Before I bought these insoles, I had developed serious pain in my feet. The pain stemmed from over-extension of my big-toe joint during my group workouts, doing push-ups, planks, lunges, and mountain climbers. After months of training, I could barely walk without pain. I decided to see an orthopedic doctor and he built an insole similar to this one. I decided to buy these so I could have this kind of support in multiple shoes. Now I can lift, and run, and train all year without pain! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they rust and leave a rust stain inside of the shoes. If they could make them with a coating to reduce rust, then I'd give 5 stars :)

My patient achieved immediate relief of pain for her first MTPJ for both feet. I had her place the full steel insole under her arch support to firm up the sole allowing her to roll through her stance phase of gait without stressing her joint. She felt comfort and no feeling of stiffness allowing a normal stride.I like this option when you need to reduce the stresses of the forefoot.

I had never heard of this product until my podiatrist recommended it. I have been able to use it in all shoes rather than buy all new shoes that have a hard sole.
