Product Reviews

FAQs

Is the Apis 9205 good for plantar fasciitis?
Yes — the Apis 9205 is an excellent choice for plantar fasciitis. Its arch support, cushioned insole, and shock absorbing help reduce strain on the plantar fascia — the band of tissue along the bottom of your foot that causes heel and arch pain. The leather upper provides lasting comfort and durability.
What widths does the Apis 9205 come in?
The Apis 9205 is available in Wide (D/E), Extra Wide (2E/3E), 2X (4E). The extra-depth design and removable footbed give you room to swap in custom orthotics or accommodate swelling. This shoe is A5500 coded and may qualify for Medicare therapeutic shoe coverage.
Can the Apis 9205 fit an AFO brace?
Yes. The Apis 9205 is specifically designed to accommodate ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs). The extra-depth construction and wide opening provide enough room for the brace without compromising fit or comfort.
