I have weird feet. Otherwise, more stars. Not good for me.

This review covers how well the Visper suits my feet. Vispers seem to be very well constructed and may well be a splendid shoe for people with relatively normal feet, so I did mark "yes, I would recommend", even though they aren't good for me.
->Size purchased (after exchange): 8 / 2X. Still seem large. I wear an 8.5 2X in Propets.
->Me: Size 8.5 / EEEE toe, B heel. Bunions. Bursitis on the right sole. Orthotics. High instep. The exercise for which I need these shoes is a daily walk on concrete.
->Runs 3/4 - 1 size long. I've bought many Propets and these do not conform to their usual sizing. Points off for size inconsistency and the subsequent nuisance of exchanging. It's harder to tell about the width because of my foot size and shape, but I think they also run wide.
->Tight over the instep and loose over the toe.
->Because I have duck feet, I have to lace up tight to the collar so I don't walk out of the shoe. These collars are too stiff and low to be comfortable for me.
->The removable insoles that come with the shoe seem nice and cushy. Unfortunately, I had to remove them so that I could insert my orthotics. The sole under the insole is hard, and I am painfully aware of my bursitis with every step.
->The outer soles are great. Very secure.
->The shoe is stable and provides good support.
