Is the Darco MedSurg good for plantar fasciitis?
Yes — the Darco MedSurg is an excellent choice for plantar fasciitis. Its arch support, shock absorbing, and removable footbed help reduce strain on the plantar fascia — the band of tissue along the bottom of your foot that causes heel and arch pain.
What widths does the Darco MedSurg come in?
The Darco MedSurg is available in Medium (B/D). The extra-depth design and removable footbed give you room to swap in custom orthotics or accommodate swelling.
What does the rocker bottom sole do on the Darco MedSurg?
The rocker bottom sole on the Darco MedSurg promotes a smooth, rolling gait from heel strike to toe-off. This reduces pressure on the ball of the foot and forefoot joints, making it particularly helpful for metatarsalgia, Morton's neuroma, and arthritis.

The right size, the right support

This boot is as good as you can possibly get. It's supportive, I bought an x-large so it fits over multiple layers of gauze & other dressing, and it's medical grade. Strongly recommend, but make sure you know your general size.

Darco Med-Surg Shoe

This shoe is so helpful post op ankle fracture. My athletic shoe squeezed my foot causing swelling and pain. The Darco shoe makes it better, lots of space, more comfort. Got another Darco shoe for the other foot so I will be level. Youwill be glad you got them while recupurating!

Great slipper!

My husband wears crow boots for his severe foot problems but needed something for the evenings that are a bit more comfortable. These shoes meet his needs perfectly! They have a firm sole but allow him to customize the top to fit his feet. Great price too!

Great.

Got this shoe after I had tailor's bunion surgery/ toe de-rotation. The surgical shoe the hospital gave me had a plastic closing that dug into that part of my foot. Got this in the mail today, and I could walk 110X better from the min. I put it on. Just a word of warning though, I am a woman's 9.5. I ordered a size large which says it will fit up to a 10. I get a perfect fit as I'm out of my ace bandage now, however if I were a 10 this would be too small. I'd rec. buying hte men's size if you are 1. Above a 9.5 or 2. have a large dressing. Other than that if you had surgery this is a PERFECT upgrade on the hospital shoe at a great price. Also shipping was QUICK. This made it West to East coast in 2 days.

Happy with Purchase

Got this shoe to wear as an alternative to a walking cast (which was causing hip and lower back pain) while rehabbing two metatarsal stress fractures. Worked really well for me. My only issue was that I had trouble getting the ankle strap tight enough to keep the shoe from slipping off my foot. But a thick "slipper sock" fixed that just fine! Would buy again.

Darco Medical surgical shoe

OUR ORTHOPEDIC OFFICE HAS BEEN USING A DIFFERENT BRAND AND STYLE OF MEDICAL SURGICAL SHOE. THEY ARE AWKWARD AND CLUMSY TO WEAR AND THEY ARE NEVER A SNUG FIT. A PATIENT CAME IN WEARING THE DARCO SQUARE TOE MEDICAL-SURGICAL SHOE AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE FIT. I WENT ONLINE AND GOT THE PHONE NUMBER AND SPOKE TO A VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT PERSON AND PLACED MY ORDER WITH EASE. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE. WE WILL BE REORDERING FROM FEETFEET.LADONNA [****]

Worked great - affordable

Used a walking boot stabelize foot after bunion surgery. Bought this shoe to allow mobility when dr allowed. Foot too swollen to fit in regular shoes. Worked great at an extremely affordable price. Added additional arch support inserts to keep foot in desired position until able to wear regular shoes. Will visit site for the other foot surgery scheduled next spring.

Very comfortable

I have bunion flare ups that swell my foot and cause a good deal of pain. I can't even put on a normal shoe. This medical shoe fits very well and helps immobilize the foot to relieve pain. Velcro straps allow adjustment for many foot sizes.
