The New Balance 1540V4 women's walking and running shoe was designed as an update to the 1540v4. The lightweight synthetic/mesh upper provides breathability to help control moisture buildup. The polyurethane insert not only provides another layer of stability, but also accommodates custom orthotics, arch support insoles, and diabetic insoles. This women's athletic shoe is well cushioned and comes with high-quality features: motion control is gained via ROLLBAR technology because of its medial/lateral TPU posts; the ACTEVA midsole is resistant to compression set and 24% lighter than normal foam; ENCAP midsole technology is extremely durable and supportive; and ABZORB midfoot cushioning provides shock absorption to soften steps. The outsole is made with flexible, blown rubber to help extend the lifespan of the shoe and add extra cushion. The New Balance 1540V4 women's walking and running shoe is a great selection for those looking to improve stability and control in their gait cycle.
