Is the Apis 503 good for plantar fasciitis?
Yes — the Apis 503 is an excellent choice for plantar fasciitis. Its arch support, cushioned insole, and shock absorbing help reduce strain on the plantar fascia — the band of tissue along the bottom of your foot that causes heel and arch pain. The leather upper provides lasting comfort and durability.
What widths does the Apis 503 come in?
The Apis 503 is available in Medium (B/D), Wide (D/E), Extra Wide (2E/3E), 2X (4E), 4X (8E). The extra-depth design and removable footbed give you room to swap in custom orthotics or accommodate swelling. This shoe is A5500 coded and may qualify for Medicare therapeutic shoe coverage.
Can the Apis 503 fit an AFO brace?
Yes. The Apis 503 is specifically designed to accommodate ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs). The extra-depth construction and wide opening provide enough room for the brace without compromising fit or comfort.

Good quality shoe . I buy the 10.5 ---9e wide shoe and the AFO is a tight squeeze but it fits. Has good support.
I have recommended the Healthy Feet Store to my foot doctor and to my physical therapy center for other patients

Terrific in Every Way!

The design, workmanship, weight, and durability of these boots all seems top-notch to me at this point. And for me, at least, they're also extraordinarily comfortable and a pleasure to wear.

If you need a WIIIIIDE boot, this is for you!

Apis (I guess they own Mt. Emey) is the best choice if you have really wide feet. Super comfortable even if worn all day. Highly recommended.

Well built comfortable boots

Arrived as ordered, fit well, plenty of room for AFO brace and accommodates swelling. Very comfortable and easy to get on and secure with velcro straps. Straps long enough to accommodate brace and swollen foot and ankle.

Definitely high quality and comfortable boots

I purchased these boots for my 80-year old mother - she lives in Ukraine and has trouble to find shoes for her big wide diabetic feet. Last year I bought Apis Women's Light Casual Shoe, 9301. First, she was disappointed - she is still fancy lady and shoes look not so nice. But now they are her favorite shoes and she wore them even in winter. So I tried to find same brand boots, but for lady you have only boots with lace and I had to order men's boot. Apis 503 boots are comfortable and very light, hope my mom will love them. They may be not so stylish, but they are definitely high quality boots. Your company is best for people with problem feet.

I just got these boots, they fit great. Warm (well so far only in November) and are all around comfortable. Thanks with the shipping to Canada also. Will purchase from here again for sure.

Outstanding!

I purchased these boots for my father in law who has severe edema and has not owned or purchased a boot in over 7 years because he simply could not find his size, which is a 12 9E. Even though he has a Representative from an Insurance Company that visits his home, once per year, to size his feet for a sneaker, this Rep could not find a boot to fit him! In fact, the Rep told us that if we could find a boot that fit, to please let him know, wow is all I can say to that. Okay, back to my review. So, after many hours of searching online as I am disablied and can't drive from store to store searching for a boot to fit, I found your website. I was so excited to see that you carried the width that "George" needed. George is a diabetic and carries an extreme amount of fluid in both feet as well as mid way to his knees. His condition is so severe, it's hard to look at his feet which are constatly swollen & discolored. So, I ordered the boot and was so happy it arrived much sooner than expected as we are experiening one of the worst winters on record. We took the boots to George and, low & behold, THEY FIT! Not only did they fit, they were easy for him to put on & take off, extremely comfortable for him to walk in but, the best part was the smile on his face and the way he pranced around the living room once he realized he FINALLY, after 7 years, found a boot that fit. everyone there literally had a tear or a smile, that's how happy George was to finally own a pair of boots! And, to boot, (pun intended) I received a $15 coupon off the boot and free shipping! We could not be more happy with your store and your product. We will be back for more and George is already asking about Sneakers for the Spring. Thank you Good Feet Store! Your store is everything you boast on your website and more.

Short-term comfort

the bottom rubber weared out to quickly. the first couple weeks it gave support, but it went away. i changed twice shoe inserts and still did not help. I am on my feet about 8 hrs or more, by the 5th hour, my heels start hurting and needed to sit down.
