Drew Voyager Athletic Walking Shoes for Men: Excellent foot and ankle support

The Drew Voyager Mens Athletic Walking Shoe offers unsurpassed foot and ankle support with Plus Fitting System® (twice) removable depth for custom orthotics. The Voyager features a breathable leather/mesh upper with lace-up closure. The soft fabric lining and foam-padded tongue and collar keep feet comfortable. The insole is removable and lined with Drilex® and AEGIS Microbe Shield™ to keep active feet cool, dry, and odor free. This Drew shoe is also recommended for treating foot problems such as a high arch, flat feet, Metatarsalgia (ball-of-foot paint), plantar fasciitis (heel pain), bunions, hammertoes, and arthritis. TPU and tempered steel shank offer stability with a rocker bottom to propel the foot forward. This shoe is designed with an EVA midsole and lightweight rubber outsole. HCPCS Code A5500 for a diabetic shoe, the Drew Voyager Mens Athletic Walking Shoe offers the ultimate in comfort and support, so you can move (almost) as quick as lightning.

Careful with sizing

It's hard to see what is "athletic" about these shoes. Nevertheless, it was very nice to slip my swollen feet into footwear that didn't bite back.These are well made and extremely robust shoes that look as if they will be long lived. I carefully chose the size from the chart after measuring my feet. However, one greater shoe size and one greater width would probably be a little better.

Too small.

I was going to buy a EE in size 17 but the largest available was a 16 W. The shoe was too small in both length and width. Not the shoe’s fault. I just gave it a shot as I’m recovering from surgery and needed something with more support.The shoes seemed of good quality, sturdy and now I know true to size. I’ll continue my search.

Finally Wide Enough!

After trying 4 different women's fitness shoes, a healthy feet representative told me that this men's shoe is the same design as one of the women's shoe I like, and it came a a wider width. This is a great shoe, nice rocker bottom, wide (did I say wide) and deep toe box, and comfy! Love it!
