It cuts out all the excess that comes with the shoes of the present age and believes in keeping it simple. It is unashamedly old-fashioned in its look but refreshingly post-modern in its feel. The 1 1/8" high heel and the leather-lined upper provide a look that's saucy, sexy, sassy, steamy and sophisticated at the same time. This is one of the shoes that can help you pull off both the casual and the formal looks with considerable ease and comfort. It goes equally well with a pantsuit or a jeans. You can experiment with your wardrobe however you want but your feet will always look good in it.

Being a classic shoe, however, doesn't mean that it's dated in its outlook. In fact, quite the contrary, it comes packed with innovative features. The elastic goring on the vamp, for instance, is barely visible at all. But it does its job of making the shoe extremely comfortable and supremely adjustable. At first they did seem like they would be a bit tight while loose on the heels like many shoes are for me, but were comfortable enough for me to wear them to work. Size is about perfect once I got used to them. Tight enough that my no-show socks don't really work with them but those socks don't work with most things. Slides enough on the heel that I have to wear nylons or tights or something - which is fine and expected. More comfortable than any other heels I've worn and even some other types of shoes. However, I sometimes have some knee pain to deal with after a couple hours. The knee thing originates from some ankle problems which started because of some arch problems. It's a thing which I didn't really expect these shoes to prevent. I realize these heels aren't quite perfect for my specific feet, but I just wanted something cute and professional that wouldn't kill me. These accomplish those goals. Shoes I purchased before I became more proactive about my situation hurt much more than these. You can tell there is some arch support - much more than all of my other "nice" shoes. I got the dark blue which goes well with a huge chunk of my wardrobe. Frankly I'm just relieved that I finally have some sort of heel I can walk in.

Wonderful shoes
