Is the Laverne stable despite the 2" heel?
Yes. The steel shank running through the midsole physically prevents foot roll and provides rigid structural support. Combined with the 0.75" platform (making the effective incline only 1.25"), the Laverne is more stable than the heel height might suggest.
What does "energy-return" mean?
